John Curtis is the founder and head coach at Wycoff Tennis & Turf.    Coach Curtis brings decades of coaching experience, including 11 seasons as the Head Men’s Tennis Coach at New York University (NYU), where he produced 10 straight winning seasons in a row and the 2002 NCAA Singles Champion. Curtis coached multiple Academic All-Americans and Athletic All-Americans. His extensive background, combined with a deep understanding of how sports help shape confidence, discipline, and character, has helped create a welcoming environment where every child has the opportunity to learn, improve, and enjoy the game. 

 Jodi Valenti enters her sixth year as a team member at Wyckoff Tennis & Turf. With more than two decades of excellence in education and athletics, Coach Jodi Valenti has built a distinguished career as both a teacher and coach.

A dedicated educator for 22 years, Jodi Valenti has served as an elementary physical education

teacher in the same Bergen County, New Jersey, school district, where her commitment to student development and lifelong fitness earned her the prestigious Teacher of the Year Award in 2023.

On the collegiate level, Jodi has spent 20 years as the head and assistant coach of the Kean University Women's Tennis program, helping establish a tradition of success and competitive excellence. 

 Auriella Coronado-Luz enters her third year  as a team member at Wyckoff Tennis & Turf. Coach Auriella is a fan favorite with the kids for her fun and engaging tennis lessons as well as her positive and encouraging attitude.  Auriella started her tennis journey at the young age of 5 years old and continued competing through high school. She played on the varsity team for all 4 years at Passaic Valley Regional High School. She trained at several area clubs including Haworth Country Club and Fair Lawn Racquet Club. 

 Gabriella Fredette enters her sixth year as a team member at Wyckoff Tennis & Turf. Coach Gabby is a standout athlete across the board. Her talents expand from being a standout member of the Kean University softball team, for all 4 years of her college career, to playing tennis and pickleball at a tournament level. Coach Gabby brings a high level of excellence on and off the court and field each and every time- and her students always benefit from that energy. Coach Gabby is always one of our most requested coaches for private lessons and class bookings.
